There I Not a Woman In tb Land Whose MjniiiethUii and Cona-ratuUtlou. Wilt Not Out to Mrs. Bobertaon. From tb N.w Kra, Orn.u.bnrg, lad. Thin paper recently detailed a reporter to visit west lork, Crawford county, Indiana, and interview Mrs. Clara M. Robertson. He made the journeybut Mrs. Robertson was not at Home. Whereupon he left a note for her request lug that she write him the facta asked for, which in a few day she did, In the following most grateful manner: VVkst 1 ohk, Ind., Hep. 29, 18U6. "Dear Bin In response to your note of inquiry I trust you will not expect me to write all I feel, for I cannot do so in an ordinary letter. "I am now past my nlty-nltn anni versary, and am in possession of better health than at any time within thirty years, f rom my twenty-iourtu year, when my first child was Dorn, until the spring of 1894, when 1 bad the good fortune to begin the use of Pink Pills. I scaroely knew what it was to be free from pain, though naturally of a robust constitution. The hardships of life for a farmer s wife in those days can hardly be estimated by women in the same station now-a-days, for in those days farm labor was more enormous. 'At the birth of my child my youth seemed to suddenly fade away, and my once robust constitution to collapse, but my husband could not afford hired help, and though ill-health brought Its train of miseries, it brought no relaxation from the burdens which devolve upon a poor man s wile, railing of the womb, my first complaint, was soon followed by dyspepsia, bladder complaint, rheu mutism and neuralgia till 1 prayed often for that peace which the world cannot five. Local doctors gave me 110 relief, hen I began the useof patent medicines, but was rewarded with failure. 1 lost faith in all advertisements. 1 bud ac tually despaired of ever finding relief, and the culmination of my despair was reached when five years ago an ugly sore broke out upon my left shin, despite all efforts to cure or check it. The doctors told me. that, owing to my age I could expect no relief excopt by amputation oc bone scraping. "In April, 1891, Airs. A. M. ueorge, 01 St, Croix, Ind., visited me and became cognizant of my troubles. She had nsed Pink Pills with such beneficial euecte that her enthusiasm partially Inspired me with confidence, liy her advice I pro cured a half dozen boxeBof Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale people from Dr. II. H. Setser, of Leavenworth Ind. I improved rapidly from the first box. Before the six boxes were taken, I had so much im proved that I secured a dozen more boxes, alt of which I took. Kre three months had passed I was absolutely free from pain, and I could eat anything set befor me, with as much avidity as dur ing my girlhood. There was no more retching or belching; no mora spitting up of food, as there bad been during more than fifteen years. My sleep was sweet and refreshing. There was no more rising during the night by reason of disordered kidneys, and none of those fainting spells which my family dreaded more than any other symptom of my enfeebled condition. By the end of six months my sore leg was perfectly healed, and every vestige of my rheumatism gone. Today 1 am in the pride of health, able to perform ns much work as any of my daughters. But I have not aban doned my friend I'itik Pills. I have them always on hand, nud as one ounce of preventive is worth aixteon of cure, I take a few doses occasionally to pre vent a recurrence of those maladies which will always act like a nightmare upon me. "lonn never be thankful enough for the bi'fii'HJs derived from this wonderful medicine, and if my testimonial will ex tend its use, and curry tlm lling of health to somesufferiug si(or 1 consider it a pleasant duty to aid in spreading the glad tidings. Many of my neighbors w ho were aware of my long suffering, de spondeuey and cure, have availed them selves of the ageney of Pink Pills to re lieve their ills, nnd 1 never heard of dis appointment following their 11 e. , "I earnestly pmy that the tnanuftio til rem of this iiie'limn in.iv lve long to nerve their i"d by serving bis suffering children, for this is servlug Him in the iiiiwit t briatiau milliner.
