teenth judicial district he has saved
that portion of the state from utter
financial ruin. He has been the
true friend of the money lender as
well as the impoverished farmer.
While he held in check the greed
of the mortgagor, that if left to it
self would have depopulated the
country and made the mortgage
practically worthies?, he saved the
farmer his home and gave him a
chance to pay off his debt. If
there is patriotism left among the
citizens of his district he will be
re-elected by a practically unani
mous vote. It has been the fash
ion in this state in the years past,
whenever a man undertook to
serve the people and keep the
hands of corporation cormorants
and money lenders from taking
their little all, to turn him down
at the next election, but the peo
ple have been learning better than
that in the last font or five years.
