One of the jurors, J no. T. Nims, says he was approached and requested to sign, but flatly refused. It is thought, howevei, that there are one or two of the jurors who will sign at any rate. Whether or not Mr. Ger ing is successful in his mission, he pro poses to spare no fair means to pre vent Hill's execution on March 1,1895, as fixed by the supreme court of the state.
