EVERY POUND of Vegetable
Oil Substitutes for Lard and
Butter bought by Nebraskans
helps to reduce by that much
the revenue of our Nebraska
farmers and dairymen.
DUBJNG the fifteen year period
from 1923 to 1937, the con
sumption of vegetable oils
and compounds practically
doubled in the United States,
with Lard the big loser, and
Butter, another important
midwestern product, next.
THE SUPERIORITY of Butter
and Lard over substitutes is
known to culinary experts
and dietitians yet many
continue using them.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE
to equal Pure Lard or Pure
Butter so why accept the
so-called substitutes to the
detriment of our own best
interests?
