Hinky-Dinky's Price Policy:
In view of the confusion in the minds of many consumers regarding
food prices, HINKY-DINKY issues the following statement:
1 LOW MARGIN OF PROFIT. Over a period
cf years, HINKY-DINKY has earned the
good will of the public through their pol
icy of doing business on a low margin of
profit. We intend to retain the good will
thus earned by continuing to maintain
this policy.
2 PRICE CHANGES. Price changes in our
store reflect the changes in our whole
sale costs, over which we have no control.
3 GREATER SAVINGS. Because HINKY
DINKY buys foods direct from growers,
producers, and manufacturers, we elimi
nate many in-between profits and distri
bution expenses. These savings are pass
ed .on to our customers.
4 CO-OPERATION IN MARKETING. Hinky-
Dinky pledges to respond to governmental
marketing recommendations, and to co
operate with producers and consumers to
insure an orderly, economical process In
the distribution of food products.
