MARY STANDEE MOCKENHAUPT Mary Stander, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Stander, was born on a farm near Louisville on March 6, 1864. On May 14. 1833. she was united in marriage to Chris E. Mock enhaupt. Five sons and two daugh ters were born to this union, the eldest son dying in infancy. The other children are Peter of Greenwood, Valentine of Alvo, Wal ter and John of Manley, Mrs. Addie Maier of Louisville, and Sue, of Man ley. She is also survived by her aged husband, eleven grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. C. -R.' Erhart and one brother. F. H. Stander, of Omaha. Funeral services were conducted at St. Patrick's Catholic church at 10 a. m. Monday, with Father J. P. Hennessy officiating, assisted by Rev. Cramer and Rev. Keeley of Lincoln. Responses were sung by the Manley choir under the direction of the organist, George Rau. Interment was in St. Patrick's "cemetery. Among those attending the fun eral were F. H. Stander, daughter Lillian. Mrs. M. Honer, J. C. Murphy of Omaha, Mr. -and Mrs. F. E. Albee, Mrs. N. Bedell, .Mr. and Mrs. John Aires. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Hite, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert' Rowsen, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan McCurdy, Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. Earl Quinn, ;Mrs. Tom Quinn, Edward Mockenhaupt and Helen Maher of Lincoln, Mrs. Etta Mock enhaupt, Mrs. E. Kelly. Mrs. Minnie Buiin of Plattsmouth, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Erhart of Nebraska City. - Mrs. Mockenhaupt had lived in Cass county all her life. She was kind and charitable, which won her many friends. She was in poor health for many years, but bore her affliction with great patience and fortitude.
