VISIT IN OLD HOME
Mr. and Mrs. James Brldgewater
and Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Ramel, of
this city, were visitors at Brown
ville. Nebraska, Sunday, enjoying the
homecoming which was staged by the
enterprising residents of that com
munity. The Brldgewater and Ramel
families are former residents ot
Brownville and met many of the old
friends while in that city.
RECOVER STOLEN CAR
Tuesday afternoon Sheriff Joe
Mrasek and Deputy Sheriff Emery
iDoody secured a car stolen earlier in
the day at Nebraska City, as well
as a colored man who was driving
the car at the time. The car and
driver were apprehended south of
this city some two miles oh highway
No. 75. The party and car were later
turned over to Sheriff Carl Ryder of
Otoe county and returned to Nebraska
City.

last evening drew a great crowd to
South Fourth street where the
dancing party was to be staged.
The crowd at the peak of the fes
tivities was estimated at 2,000 and
the space provided for the dancing!

guardianship of Sophia Nielsen, in
competent, of Murdock. A mortgage
held by Mrs. Rose Von Lackum, of
