SearlS. Davis motored to Lincoln
bis morning where he spent the day
attending to matters of business.
Mr. and Mrs. George Wallinger of
Ashland were in Plattsmouth Sunday
where they visited with a group of
friends and relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Janda, Jr., ac
companied by Mrs. Janda's sister,
who is visiting them from New York,
were guests in Plattsmouth Sunday.
Raymond Wooster, who is attend
ing the University of Nebraska, was
home over the week-end, returning
this morning to his studies at Lin
coln. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Godwin and
Miss Ruth Patton were in Omaha to
day to spend a few hours visiting
with friends and looking after some
matters of business.
Mrs. Don Seiver and daughters.
Misses Shirley and Donna Bea were
in Lincoln Saturday where they spent
the day visiting with a number of
friends and relatives.
Mrs. Mae S. Morgan, who is a
teacher in the public schools of
Burlington, Iowa, arrived Sunday to
spend the school vacation here and
at Omaha with her daughterMiss
Clara Mae Morgan and Mrs. E. H
Wescott.
Mrs. R. D. Veech and son, Robert
Dudley, of Frankfort, Indiana arrived
in Plattsmouth Saturday where they
will spend a week or so visiting here
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Horsak, the latter being a sister of
Mrs. Veech, and aunt of Robert Dud
ley. From Tuesday's Dally

South Bend were here today to at

H. H. Ragoss, assessor of Mt.
Pleasant precinct, was here today to
spend a few hours attending to some
wallers; of business , at the court
house.

her sister, Mrs. J. E. Worley and

County Attorney Walter H. Smith
was in Lincoln today to attend to
some matters of business at the su
preme court.
William Hobson, Weeping Water
mortician, was in the city today for
a few hours attending to matters
at the court house.
Joe Hendrix, who has completed
his school work at Doane college at
Crete for the year, arrived home
Tuesday afternoon for the summer
vacation. Mr. Hendrix ha3 had a very
busy year at Doane as in addition to
his regular studies he has been ac
tive in athletics and dramatic club
work. !

Starved Rock State Park in central
Illinois on Sunday, June 4.
