Miss Evelyn Meisinger of Omaha,
was here Sunday a's a guest of Miss
Mary Jane Mark over the week end.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Knorr had as
Sunday guests Mr. and Mrs. Carl
Panzer and daughter, Ruth, of Ashland.
Miss Dora Fricke spent Sunday
and today in Omaha with her sister.
,Mrs. Russell Harris, who celebrated
her birthday Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. James Rebal, Jr., of
Omaha were here Saturday evening
to visit with the Frank Rebal family
and other of the old friends. Mrs.
Rebal has just recently returned from
California where she was visiting
her daughter. Miss Dorothy.

Mrs. Edward Jackson of Omaha
was a Sunday visitor here at the
Leonard at the Coronado partments.
Searl S. Davis was at Weeping
Water today where he spent a short
time looking after some matters of
business.

was a visitor in the city yesterday.
Walter J. Wunderlich of Nehawka
was a business visitor in the city

Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Waller were
Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs-. Leslie
G. Ablott at Omaha.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Uannl of Omaha
were here Tuesday to visit at the
home fo Mrs. Anna Lillie and Miss
Marie Kaufmann.
Miss! Evelyn Ripa, commercial in
structor in the Plattsmouth high
school, had as a Sunday guest Miss
Katie Reimer of Omaha.
Peter Gradoville and Elmer Sund-
strom motored to Avoca today where
they were participants in a musical
concert given in that city.
NEED FOR FURITURE
The Plattsmouth volunteer fire
men are now .completing their club
rooms in the city hall building on
the main floor where the fire fight
ing equipment has been stored. The
department will use the room for
a meeting place and for their social
activities during the year making a
much needed place that the firemen
can call their own.
With the completion of the club
rooms there is 'the problem of fur
nishings for the room and residents
of the city who have chairs, tables
or other furniture suitable for a club
room that they might vi3h to donate
will find them most acceptable to
the club members.

From Tuesday's Dally ,
dene Marksbury, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Marksbury underwent a
tonsilectomy operation early this
morning. The little one was able to
withstand the operation in a good
condition. His mother, Mrs. Henry
Marksbury was with him during the
operation.

ed and the property disposed of.

hold their regular meeting on Fri
day evening at 8 o'clock. The west
side committee will have charge of
the program. All are urged to attend.

petition of the plaintiff asks that a
