Woolheiser in the north part of the city la very attractive with the sea sonal decorations that he has ar ranged on the porch of his home and which has attracted a great deal of attention at night when illuminated. The scene is of the three wise men and the star of Christmas and is one that won a prize for Mr. Woolheiser in a contest held at his former home in Kansas. RULES CHRISTMAS SUNDAY LINCOLN, D.c. 21 (UP) Christ mas Sunday will be like any other Sunday with respect to the illegal sale of liquor other than beer, Chair man J. A. McEichen of the state 11 quor control commission announced today. He said several inquiries have been received regarding the status of the Christmas day inasmuch as selling of hard liquor is permitted on holidays. Mrs. John Hobscheidt, Sr., was assistant hos tess, and every one brought a cover ed dish. All together it made a sumptuous dinner. After dinner some business was discussed, after which games in keeping with the Christ mas spirit were played. Everyone en joyed the Christmas carols that were sung. Every member present brought a gift for the grab bag and the draw ing was a source of pleasure for all. Some that didn't, get to come sent their gift and a number was drawn for them. Each one told what they considered the most thrilling Christ mas they had ever had, which was Interesting indeed. All together It was a most pleasant day for every one present. CLUB REPORTER. The church services on Christmas day will begin a half-hour earlier than usual. The Sunday school will be shortened somewhat, and will be gin at 9:45. The worship service proper will open at 10:30 with a pre lude played by Miss Whipple Leon ard, followed by an antiphonal call to worship by minister and choir. Sunday morning, January 1st, the sermon will be followed by the com munion service, for which all mem bers are urged to be present. From the celebration of this happy season, may one and all take new faith and increased courage for the task of the year ahead. HAS CAR OVERTURNED From Tuesday' Dally John A. Lynch, of Omaha, a travel ing salesman for an Omaha grocery house, had the misfortune last night to have his car overturn on highway No. 1 west of Murray. The driver of the car had turned out for an other car that was parked nearby and the car was overturned and damaged to some extent. The owner of the car was not injured however. The accident occurred near the farm of Charles and Edward Howard. CALLED ON SAD MISSION Mrs. Joseph C. Warga departed Sunday for St. Louis, where she was called by the death of her youngest brother, William Langhorst, 36, who passed away Saturday morning. Mr. Langhorst is the youngest son of the late Rev. Langhorst, pastor of the St. Paul's Evangelical church sev eral years ago. The funeral services were held this afternoon at St. Louis. DIES AT ATCHISON, KANSAS From Tuesday's Daily Mrs. Mary Wagner, mother of Mrs. Earl Hardison of this city, died Sun day at the family' home where she has been ill since last Thursday. Mrs. Wagner has been a sufferer from heart trouble for several years and on Thursday was stricken with pneu monia and from which attack she failed to rally. Mrs. Hardison was called to Atchi son Saturday and was able to be with the mother in her last hours. The funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at Atchison and burial there.
