From Wednesday' Daily Mrs. Nancy Jones, 85, died this morning at the family home in this city where for many months she has been gravely ill and from which she had gradually been failing until death brought her rest. Mrs. Jones was one of the old time residents of this part of Cass county, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Walker having come to this section in the early fifties and she has spent her lifetime in the east portion of Cass county. In addition to Mr. Jones there survives three children, Mrs. Inez Thompson of Chicago, Levi Patton of Glenwood and L. L. Patton, of Om aha, as well as several step children. The funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Sattler funeral home at Fourth and Vine streets and the in terment be made at the Oak Hill cemetery. From Monday's Daily Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Becker of Weeping Water were visiting in Plattsmouth Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. William H. Ronne, of Omaha, were here today to spend several hours at the home of Mr. Ronne's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy F. Ronne. Mrs. Peter Meehan of York and Mrs. Joseph Knapp and son Joe of Hastings were visiting over the week end at the Willard N. Brink home. Mrs. Meehan and Mrs. Knapp are sisters of Mrs. Brink. Prom Tuesday's Dally Attorney C. E. Martin was in Omaha yesterday attending to busi ness matters. Miss Verna Leonard had as ner guest over the week end her sister, Mrs. Edward Jackson of Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Molak of Weston were visiting here over Sun day with their sou and family, Dr. and Mrs. Frank Molak. From Wednesday's Daily Walter Wunderlich of Nehawka was a business visitor in Platts mouth yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Schleifert of Manley were in the city today for a few hours looking after some mat ters of business and visiting with friends. Misses Margaret Scotten and Min nie Hild were In Omaha today where they spent a few hours looking after some matters of business. Attorney William A. Robertson is expected to return this evening from Alliance where he has been since Monday attending to some business matters. TO VISIT IN CALIFORNIA Mr. and Mrs. James Rebal are leaving Friday for the . west coast where they are spending the winter season with their sons, Edward and Fred Rebal and families at Lou An geles.
