RIVER SHOWS RISE
From Wednesday's Dally
William Grebe, veteran fisherman,
reports that the Missouri river has
shown a rise of five feet in the last
twenty-four hours. The rise is
thought due to the very heavy rains
that have fallen along the tribu
taries of the Missouri and which is
now receiving the flood tide of the
smaller streams.

Oats Company is offering every
child in Plattsmouth and the sur
rounding trade territory the lat
est model Wright-Dayton Mono
plane Glider (as pictured above).
And what fun the kiddies wm get oot of
this wood constructed glider. Launched
with a rubber band it will fly far and high

and land like a big plane.
Furthermore, every boy and girl can be
an ace pilot of this Monoplane Glider be

ances this feature permits the plane to
into a loop. Then it straight
ens out and glides to the ground.
But in addition to having loads of fun
with this glider boys and girls can really
learn the fundamental principles of the
man-sized planes. For this glider was de
signed by one of the famous Wright
