Soennichsen entertained informally Sunday eve ning at their home for Major and Mrs. Floyd Harding and Mr. and Mrs. It. F. Patterson. The time was enjoyed in visiting and the renewal of many old time associations. Guest at Gobelman Home Mrs. Kuth Grow, of Mansfield, Texas, who has been visiting with relatives at Sidney, Iowa, arrived here last evening in company with Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. Gobelman, who were spending Sunday at Sid ney. Mrs. Grow is a sister of Mf3. Gobelman. Mis. Grow and Mr. Gobel man will drive to Deoorah, Iowa, Tuesday to visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Fritchen. the latter a sister of Mrs. Grow. Family Reunion In honor of Mrs. L. II. Puis and daughter, Leona and grandchildren of Greeley, Colo., a reunion of the Ilild families was held Sunday, July 17 at the home of Louis Friedrich west of Plattsmouth. Everybody brought well filled baskets and at the noon hour a dinner was served under the shade trees in cafeteria style. The reunion consisted of the five brothers and two sisters, namely Michael. F. J., Geo. M., P. A.. Fred L.. Mrs. Annie Puis, and Mrs. Emma Friedrich and their families Those present were as follows: Michael Hild, Mr and Mrs. F. J. Ilild. George M. Kild, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Hild. Clugy had as dinner guests Sunday, a group of relatives and friends from Clarinda, Iowa, spending the day here at the Clugy home.- The party comprised Mr. and Mrs. II. Clugy and daughter, Mila Healy. Celebrates Birthday Miss Ruth Evelyn Warga with her parents motored to Council Bluffs Tuesday where Ruth is helping James Edward Schultz celebrate his fifth birthday anniversary, his mother, Mrs. Donald Schultz having invited several of James little friends to spend the afternoon with him. The little folks after opening the gifts played several games. At an appropriate hour, Mrs. Schultz served a delicious luncheon, the main feature being the handsome birthday cake with its five little candles. VISIT RELATIVES HERE Have Outing at Red Oak The Girl Scout patrol enjoyed a day's QUting at Red Oak Monday up on the invitation of their leader, Mrs Clark Boggess. Mrs. Hilt Martin ar ranged for the outing and thanks are due Mrs. Carl Ofe and Mrs. L. W. Egenberger who kindly donated their cars and added to the day's pleasure with treats of pop and candy. A picnic dinner and supper were pro vided and Mrs. Boggess was hostess in the pavilion and pool where the girls had a genuine good time. The girls were Miriam Fricke, Mary Jean Hatt, Rachel McMaken. Shirley Jean Martin, Ann Elizabeth Martin, Betty Reed, Georgia Carey and Eleanore Giles..
