Palmer family and the C. I. Chandler family. Mrs. Minnie Anderson of Union, was in Plattsmouth last week visit ing on the farm with Mr. and Mrs. Albeit Kraeger, She is the grand mother of Mrs. Kraeger. From Tuesday's Daily Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larson and Mr. and Mrs. Merritt Kerr held a picnic Sunday at Riverview park in Omaha. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Newton and children spent Sunday at Julian. Ne braska with Mrs. Olive Finney. The Glen Rutledge family of Nehawka were also there. Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Leonard of Omaha and Mrs. Jackson visited Miss Verna Leonard Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Mr. and Mrs. Diller Wales and family are spending a short vaca tion in southern Missouri where they are visiting the parents of Mr. Wales. Sheriff and Mrs. Homer Sylvester and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wolheiser of Louisville, were called to Cherokee, Iowa, by the death of Wayne Libolt, a second cousin. The young man was j killed in an auto accident neari Cherokee Sunday. RETURNS FROM HOSPITAL Mrs. Milo Farney who recently underwent an appendectomy at an Omaha hospital, has go far recovered that she was able to return home Sunday afternoon. RECEIVES COURT MANDATE From Tuesday's Dall Clerk of the District Court C. E. Ledgway today received the mandate of the state supreme court in the case of J. C. Wheeler vs. the Dletz Hill Development Co. The court af firmed the case in favor of the plain tiff, who in the district court recover ed judgment for $1,200 with inter est and costs.
