Miss Harriett Goos was here over the weekend visiting: at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. V. Goos and the many friends ni the city. Mr. and Mrs. Georpe K. Rebal of Iowa City, la., were here over Sun day and today as guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Kebal, Sr., parents of Mr. Rebal, as well as with other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. John Sherwood, of Nebraska City, were here for a short time today to visit with relatives and friends. They were en route to Om aha with their son, Lynn Sherwood, who is returning to his home after a visit at Nebraska City. BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETS. From Tuesday's Dally The hoard of education of school district No. 1, Cass county, met last evening at the high school building and had a very busy session with a great many matters pertaining to the close of the school year coming up. The board reorganized for the com ing year by re-electing J. A. Capwell as the president and Miss Marie E. Kaufmann, as the secretary. MARRIED AT COURT HOUSE From Tuesday's Dally Sear! S. Mr. and Mrs. V. F. Kelley left last night for Enid, Oklahoma, where they will visit their son, Vincent. Attorney C. E. Tefft of Weeping Water was here today for a few hours attending to some matters of business at the court house. From Tnpsdav's Dally This morning at the court house occurred the marriage of Ruby Jane Franks of Greenwood and Louis Dale Jeffrey or Waverly, who after the wedding motored to Greenwood where they will reside in that community in the future. The wedding was witnessed by Miss Minnie Hild, clerk of the court and Robert M. Walling, the abstractor. AT OMAHA HOSPITAL Friends will regret to learn that Mrs. August Pautsch, one of the high ly esteemed residents of. Louisville, i at the Immanuel hospital at Om aha and under treatment. Mrs. Pautsch was taken there Monday and will probably remain for some time. From Wednesday's Dally Mrs. Howard Fullerton of Omaha is in the city visiting with Mrs. Dan Torryberry. Herman Pall, of Manley was a visitor in the city today to visit with friends and looking after some natters of business. LAND, FARM and RANCH BARGAINS VISIT RELATIVES HERE Frederick and Miss Marion Fricke of Lincoln were here Sunday to visit their aunt. Miss Lena Fricke as well as other relatives and friends. CAPTURES COYOTES Shrader Rhoden, of Murray was a caller Monday afternoon at the office of County Clerk George R. Savior, bringing with him the scalp of an old coyote and nine of the pups that he had discovered in a den near Murray. UNDERGOES APPENDECTOMY From Tuesday's Dally Rev. G. A. Pahl was taken to the Clarkson hospital in Omaha at 2 o'clock this morning, where he im mediately underwent an appen dectomy. It was thought he came through the operation fine.
