The Missouri river Is commencing
to show the effects of the high water
reported from farther north several
days ago and since Monday has been
showing a steady gain, residents
along the river report.
It is expected by the army engineer
offices at Omaha that the river will
show a six foot rise by Thursday
night and be the highest since last
July.
Whether the high water will be
sufficient to cause overflow of the
lowlands along the Missouri from
Sioux City south has not been de
termined as the improvement work
will be the principal speaker and as
usual in the case of similar banquets,
we expect a considerable attendance
from the C. B. fc Q. official family
as well as from the system of officer?
of the Veterans' Association and
Auxiliary.
