VISIT IN CITY From Wednesday's Daily Mr. and Mrs. Julius Holthusen. of Union, were in this city today, trans acting business and visiting friends. Mr. Holthusen Is one of the operators in the Missouri Pacific depot at Union. ATTEND BASKETBALL GAME Dr. and Mrs. Frank Molak. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Keil. Mary McGinn, and Sam Arn were in Omaha Friday eve ning attending the Creighton basket ball game. Mrs. Molak's brother is a member of the team. PLANT CLOSES From Monday' Dallr The packing plant of the Norfolk Packing Co.. was closed today owing to the death of A. E. Stewart, man ager of the plant here. The business office attended to what business was necessary but the rest of the plant was closed. Small, pastor of the United Hrethren church conducted the services and paid a fine tribute to the long and useful life of the de parted friend and neighbor.
