Rock Creek Bridge.
The bridge over Rock Creek on
the highway south of the filling sta
tion has been needing repairs and
so a detour was effected leading west
from John Hobscheidt's place for a
mile, then north to the Murray gar
age and then east to the filling sta
tion, placing, the traveler back on
highway 7a, or vice versa as the
case might be. This worked well un
til last Saturday night when the
heavy rain came causing- the roads
to be very muddy. Many were pulled
out by Ivan Deles Denier who made
a good thing of it until the roads
dried. This put Murray on the mayi
line of traffic which naturally went
over highways J4 and id. 1
living a number of miles west of
Murray, were entertaining for the
day last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Rob
ert Bestor of Mitchell, South Dakot;,.
were the honored guests. A very fin.'
chicken dinner was enjoyed. Besides
Mr. and Mrs. Bestor, those present
were Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Troop,
Thomas and George Troop.

Mesdames Everett Spangler, Nel
son Bergcr, Miss Jessie Baldwin and
Miss Gertrude W'olph made a party
who drove to North Platte where
they enjoyed attending the state club
meeting. Mrs. Kverett Spangler wits
appearing on the program. They re
mained there for the three daya of
the meeting.
