RETURNS FROM TEXAS
Charles K. IJestor, who has been
spending1 the winter at Corpus
Christi, Texas, returned home Mon
day evening:. Mr. Bestor has had a
very pleasant time in the several
months that he spent in the Cult
coast resort and where a large num
ber of residents of the north come
each winter. Mr. Bestor reports that
the weather there was not as warm
as usual and several "northers"
brought the temperature down to
some 35 above zero while he was
there.
He enjoyed visiting with Mr. and
Mrs. Lee Mayfield of Louisville, who
were spending the winter in the
south and who also have returned to
their home at Louisville, arriving
home last Friday.
TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Henry Timm, who suffered a
hemorrhage Sunday as the result of
an attack of ulcers of the stomach,
was taken to Omaha late Monday
night for treatment. Mr. Timm suf
fered a second hemorrhage last eve
ning shortly after 9 o'clock and it
was so severe that it was found
necessary to have the patient taken
at once to the hospital. He is at the
Kina hospital.

PREPARE FOR EGG HUNT
Mr. and Mrs. John P. Sattler, Jr.,
are preparing for the staging of an
event that for the past two years
has been a great treat to the young
sters of the community the annual
Easter egg hunt.
Each year they have had hundreds
of eggs colored and prepared and
hidden over the spacious ground that
surround their home, here the chil
dren, from the smallest to those in
the fifth grade of school have found
great delight in searching for the
eggs.
The annual hunt will probably be
staged on the Saturday preceding
Easter day, March 27th. if the weath
er conditions will permit the holding
of the search.
The coloring of the eggs for the
hunt is no small task and will be
started several days before the event
in order to assure an ample supply of
the eggs.
