F. Clugry, who has been visiting at Denver for some time with her sister, Mrs. Will Tillman, has returned home. She reports Mrs. Tillman as still very poorly following several years of poor health and is still under constant medical care. Mrs. Tillman was for many years a resident of the Union community and the many old time friends will be sorry to learn that she is in such poor condition. Mrs. Clugy reports that the nights in Denver are very pleasant, altho the days have been warm. VISITS IN COUNTRY OMAHA PARTIES WEDDED From Saturday's Daily: Tills morning at the court house occurred the marriage of Miss Louise N. Renner and Joseph Taracis, both of Omaha. The marriage lines were read by Judge A. H. Duxbury in hi3 usual Impressive manner and witness ed by L. A. Grasso and A. J. Tarascis, the latter a brother of the groom. After the wedding the bridal party returned to Omaha where they are to make their future home. Miss Wilma Potts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. Potts, returned home Sunday evening from a much enjoyed visit for the week at the home of Robert Patterson ana Joe Campbell. Herbert Campbell also spent Sunday at the Joe Campbell home. Continued earth movements were reported In western Colombia, where an earth quake killed more than fifty persons Tuesday and did widespread damage. Dispatches from Pasto, capital of Marino province, said municipalities which bore the brunt of the shock were Yacuanguer, Funes and Tangua. Hundreds of houses collapsed and others were damaged, leaving the in habitants homeless. A persistent downpour of rain made rescue work difficult. The tumultous waters of the Muskingum river, gorg ed from overflowing tributaries, swept into southeastern Ohio with damage in their wake unofficially estimated at3 million dollars. oX official estimate of the damage has yet been made, however, state, city and county officials and news paperment who have toured the stricken regions, were agreed that the estimate is approximately cor rect. Two major , feeder streams, the Tuscarawas and the Walhonding, be gan to recede slowly, indicating dan ger of further damage was past. The state's worst flood in twenty two years has exacted a toll of at least two lives and one missing, forced hundreds of families to vacate their homes, wiped out miles of high-J ways and railroads, destroyed scores of bridges and caused heavy damage to rich lowlands.
