NOVEMBER FOOTBALL
With November just ahead, the
Plattsmouth football team is begin
ning to prepare for the games which
mark the closing of the 1934 sched
ule. Next on the list i3 the final
home game with Tecumseh here on
November 9th. Tecumseh has one
of the best teams in the southeast,
having lost but one game to the
strong Falls City eleven. This will
be a severe test for the light and
inexperienced squad which Coach
Rothert has this fall. The closing
games on the Platter schedule will
be away from home. On November
16th the Blue and White will travel
to Rock Port, Missouri. Football re
lations on a two year basis have been
begun with this Missouri school in
the corner of the Show-Me state just
sixty miles south. The curtain will
ring down on the season at Nebraska
City on Friday, November 23rd, and
the Platters will hang up the mole
skins and get ready for basketball.
If the weather permits, the. Nebraska
City game will be played uncle!
