A California man was convicted
the other day of first degree murder
on two counts for killing his wife
and another man. The jury imposed
the death penalty only in the mur
der of his wife, however. Probably
a light fine will settle the other mat
ter. At any rate, we see that the
ends of justice arc whittled down

pecially in California.
Our opinion is that June Roble'3
return home would have been a happy
event even without those two "ones"
