Mrs. James Tigner, one of the
well known residents of the Murray
community, was given a very pleas
ant birthday surprise on Saturday
evening, the occasion being the thir
ty-ninth anniversary of the guest
of honor. The members of the party
numbering eighty, arrived at the Tig
ner home and proceeded to spend a
most pleasant evening. The time was
spenc in games of all kinds and cards
During the evening the Murray or
chestra, Leonard Lutz and Pred Kah-
ler, gave some very delightful num
bers that were very much enjoyed by
all of the party. The ladies of the
party had brought well filled baskets
and which provided a very fine lunch
eon. Those who enjoyed the occasion

Horn against George C. VanHorn.
The suit asks for a decree of divorce,
suitable alimony and the attorney
fees. Mrs. VanHorn has made her
home in Omaha for a short time while
the husband is a resident of this citv.
