ty Treasurer of said County, in the City
of Plattsmouth, at public auction, so

sus in Nebraska, made public Wed
nesday by the United States depart
ment of commerce. The drop in valu
ation from 1920 to 1930 amounted
to approximately $2,000,000.

more than in 1920, and farm acre
ages have been increased from 420,-

The value of farm buildings has
increased from $2,385,670 to $3,447,
520 and the value of farm machinery
and equipment was increased from
$1.0S0,295 to $1,406,981 during the
past ten years.
The report shows that in Dixon
county there are 1,520 farms now
in operation as compared with 1,441
in 1920 which with buildings, are
now valued at $27,842,357 as com
pared with $53,646,135 ten years
ago. in Dixon county equipment
machinery is valued at $2,088.4'J

'1920. Of the 1.530 farms in the coun
ty, 708 were operated by owners, II
by managers, and 809 by tenants. Of
the total acreage, 151,064 acres is
under the management of tenants.
PLATTER SECONDS TIE NORTH
The Plattsmouth high school sec
ond team which is under the pilot
age of Harold Jordan, assistant
coach, were able to secure a score
less tie with the North high seconds
of Omaha, in the first football game
of the season for the seconds.
The game was one in which the
comine football stars were able to
show their stuff in excellent shape
and both teams battled well, neither
being able to seriously threaten the
eroal of their foe.
In the Plattsmouth lineup were
Clarence Forbes, James Begley,
Richard Spangler. Robert Sedlak,
David Robinson. George Luschinsky,
Ralph Timm, Maynard McCleary,
John Richardson.
The second team have a game at
Glen wood with their second team the
coming week and also have a con
tract for playing a preliminary game
on Thanksgiving morning at Nebras
ka City as a preludt to the main game
