The banks of Plattsmouth will shortly inaugurate a
few changes in banking- methods which, principally,
will be a service charge of 50c per mnnih on all un
profitable checking- accounts. This new policy will
be announced in a series of explanatory statements to
be published Mondays and Thursdays in succeeding
issues of this newspaper.
Every bank recognizes that it must have and must re
tain the good will and confidence of its patrons and
wre believe that any change in banking practices effect,
not only the customers of the banks, but also the 'whole
community and, above all, our aim is to assist this com
munity in every way possible to a greater prosperity
and a closer understanding. We arc, therefore, seek
ing the widest publicity for these statements and hone
they will be read by every citizen in the community.
