From Thursday's Daily The friends in thi3 city of Raymond j Larson today received the an nouncements of the marriage of Mr. Larson and Miss Hettie Wheeldon of Bellevue, which occurred yesterday, afternoon at Atlantic, Iowa. j The wedding was not unexpected by the friends of these two popular ( young people altho they had kept the dav of the happy event a close secret and the groom yesterday quietly stole away, driving to Bellevue where he was Joined by the bride and they motored to Atlantic where the nup tials were celebrated and the young people are now enjoying a short hon-: evmoon before returning to this city where they will make their future home, the groom having a very charming home on South 12th street awaiting the coming of the new head of the household. The bride is a daughter of Mr. Milo P. Wheeldon of near Gretna and has grown to womanhood in Sarpy county and of late has been engaged in teaching in the public schools at Bellevue. Mrs. Larson is a lady of the greatest personal charm and will receive a hearty welcome from the many friends to her new home In thie city. The groom Is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Larson and has been very active in the affairs of the community here where he was born and reared to manhood. Mr. Larson was educated in the schools of this city and le a graduate of the class of 1916 of Plattsmouth High school. At the time of the entrance of the Unit ed States into the World war, Mr. Lareon enlisted In the 4th Nebraska infantry and served in the organiza tion as well as Co. C. 126th Machine Gun Battalion of the 34th division and Co. A. 11th Machine Gun Bat talion, 4th division for a year In France. He Is at the present time one of the efficient employes of the government in the local postoffice. The many friends here Join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. Larson a long and very happy life in the years to come and with all of the success that they so well deserve.
