Overhauling Engine J
Alfred Gansiner, manager of the,
Murray elevator, has been making
some necessary repairs to the engine
at the elevator which is used for
power and has completely overhauled
the machine, replacing worn portions
with new ones. Mr. Gansmer was a
vititor in Omaha last Tuesday after

occasion the friends in the Burling
ton store department, where Miss
Sitzniann is employed. decided to
give her a pleasant reminder of the
occasion and accordingly, with the
members of the family entered into
a conspiracy that allowed the sur
prise to be pulled off without the
guest of honor being aware of the
plans of the . friends until they had
all arrived at the Sitzmann "home.
The evening was spent in games of
all kinds at which the party derived
a great deal of fun and several mu
sical numbers given during the even
ing assisted in making the event one
that will long be vtry pleasantly re
membered. Miss Sitzmann received
many beautiful gifts from the friends
who were present.
At an appropriate hour a very
