VETERAN CONDUCTOK
Tom Riley, veteran conductor on
the Rock Island lines, finishes 57
years of continuous service and re
tires. He stuck to the same "boss"
since 1866. Enviable record in the
matter of public service.
Men like Tom Riley, patiently
handling the routine of life, do not
get into the news often, but they
are the foundations of civilization.
It's a pleasure to wish Tom Riley
good luck in his years of much earn
