Worm Pest Attacks Alfalfa
Henry Sturm is suffering quite a
loss in the devastating of his alfalfa
fields by a worm which eats off the
j leaves of the plant. The first crop
was of good character and not in
any way molested by this pest which
has attacked the plant before the
second cutting. The stock seem to
eat the hay even after the worms
have worked upon It but Mr. Sturm
thought it might be of a poisonous
nature and is a little afraid to feed
It to the stock. .

farmers' elevator that tested 61 and
