Warm Weather Stove!
The Red Star is a marvelous advancement for homes without
gas. It gives to these homes the same smokeless and odek
less heat as does the city gas range. It is wickless, ashless
and dirtless, becauae it generates its own gas from cheap ker
osene, gasoline cr distillate concentrating a double ring of
heat directly beneath the cooking utensil and saving at least
one-fourth of fuel bill. Operates 19 hours on a gallon of fuel.

Last Week No Exception
LaBt week the collision which
marked the coming together of two
Ford cars occurred just below Wy
oming station was one which made
both cars look like a junk pile and
whitened the complexion of the occu
pants of the cars. A number of Union
boys had secured a car from the Dow
ler garage and were going towards
Nebraska City and had turned
around to come this way as they
were not able to get their lights to
burn when they met another man
with only one light burnable and it
not going and they came together
head on with the above results. The
two Garrens boys and Mr. Hemphill
were fortunate to escape without
more serious injury than came to
them.

For many years it has been Henry -Ford's personal am
bition to make the Ford the universal family car to put
it within the reach of the millions of people who have
never been privileged to enjoy the benefits of motor car
ownership.
During the past fifteen years over 7,500,000 Ford cars
have been placed in the hands of retail customers; more
than a million and a half of them within the past twelve
months, and yet there are still millions of families wrho
are hopefully looking forward to the day when they can
own a Ford.
And now is way is open. '
Under the terms of this plan you can select your Ford Car, set aside a small
amount each week and you will be surprised how soon you will own it. In
the meantime your money will be safely deposited to your credit in the Platts
mouth State Bank where it will draw interest.
Think it over. Five dollars will start an account. The whole family can
participate in it father, mother, brothers and sisters each doing a litttle.
Why not start today. Stop in and talk it over with us. We will be glad to
'fully explain the details of the plan and help you to get started toward the
ownership of a Ford car.
