On March 22, 1S70, he was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Crawford at James port, Mo. To this union were born three children, al of whom survive. They are George B. and Charles, of Pacific Junction, and Mrs. V. II. Wehrbein of Plattsmouth. Neb. Two brothers also survive, M. F. and Dan iel Frederickson of Creston, la. Mr. Duty was a long time member of the Knights of Pythias fraternal order. Years ago he lived in Chariton, where he was well known. For some time oast he has been suffering from ill health. The remains were brought to Chariton Saturday evening for in terment in the family lot in the Char iton cemetery. A large group of rela tives accompanied the remains to their last resting place. The wife died February 2S, 1902. The services at the grave were in charge of Rev. C. W. McClelland. heard it. The playlet, "My Lady's Cookbook," given by Mis Ellen Nolt ing. Miss Helen Wiles ard Miss Mil dred Snyder, was well given and a pleasing part of the program. Mrs. H. W. Black added to the program a well rendered solo very fitting to the occasion. Decorations consisting if lar.aro chysanthomunis gave attrac- ' tion to the rooms and dainty refresh ments served by the ladies, completed one of the most successful Praiso Services the society has ever had.
