The report of Pity Treasurer Hart
ford shows that the city has at the
present time some $54,0O in the
treasury with an overdraft in several
funds that reaches $10,000. leaving
a balance of $,:i,000. Registered
warrants outstanding against the
city amount to the sum of 11 4, t0.
hut a number of these will be called
for collection presently.
Police Jude M. Archer reported
that duritiK the month he had se

costs amount in", to $21 from the of
fenders in his court and that this
money had been turned over to t lo

The judiciary committee of I he

tion bad been brought up at the last

as low as could reasonably be ex
