The general crop conditions throughout this portion of Cass coun ty are reported as being generally favorable as reported by several of the leading farmers of this locality. The only departure from the general favorable condition is that of a por tion of the wheat crop that is re ported as showing some signs o.; weakness as the wheat is not as strong and sturdy as last year and the stocks in a number of cases ap pears light and inclined to show signs of having suffered from weath er conditions. Just how much this condition prevails has not been fully determined as the farmers have not all made close examinations of their fields. The corn conditions are of the best is the general report and the wheat crop one of the best that has been reported in this locality for a great many years and one that cannot help but produce a large and very favor able crop for the farmer. Despite the cold weather that was thought to have seriously affected the potato crop the yield this year looks in fine shape and generally it is most favorable with all Indica tions of producing a large yield per acre.
