HAS PAINFUL EXPERIENCE
WITH INFURIATED ROOSTER
Frnm Wednesday's Daily
Yes'erday one of the ladies resid
ing on Win'ersteen hill h."l a strange
and very painful experience with one
of the proud and haughty roosters
that presiif.s over the flock of chick
ens owned by the lady.
She was out in the chicken yard
feeding the chicks and Catherine up
the ejrars and in some manner an
gered his roostership with the result
that she was attacked and during the
melee that ensued the rooster spur
red the lady on tho ban" arm. his
sharp spurs penetrating the fies'i so
deeply as to sever two blood vessels.
This made necessary the calling of a
physician to dress the wound and
stop the flow of th' blood. Dr. Ii.
V.'(-..tover was called and it was sev
eral moments before the blood c:uid
: checked. As a result t lie lady is
in o,uite a weakened condition today
froni the loss of blood.
