Hip County Clerk delivered sealed
bids for the year 1921 to the Board,
the following bids being filed lu ac-

Modern Construction Company, of
Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
Western Bridge & Construction
Company. Omaha, Nebraska.
The Board proceeded to tabulate
the bids in the presence of the bid
ders or their representatives.
The bid of the Monarch Engineer
ing Company being the best and
lowest bid, the said company was
awarded the contract for building
the county bridges for the year end
ing May' Sth, 1922 by the follow
ing vote of the Board:
Harris, yes; Farley, yes; Gorder,
no.
Bridge Lumber
Motion by Gorder, seconded by
Farley, that the proposition made by
John Murtey to furnish bridge lum
ber to the county through any deal
er in the county at a price of $50.00
per thousand, be accepted by the
Board, carried unanimously.
The County Clerk was instructed
to return all certified checks filed
with the bridge bids.
The Board adjourned to meet on
Tuesday, May 3rd. 1921,
