Will Have Some Apples
In talking with II. M. Pollard, the
Nehawka orchardist. regarding the
t 'W'Ct of the late freeze, we learned
that while some of the summer va
ri.ties of apples have suffered much
damage ami the Johnathans were
also nipped to a considerable extent,
the hardier and later maturing fruit
is still safe and should the conditions
remain favorable through the grow
ing ar.,1 maturing season, there will
still lie opportunity to harvest a
considerable apple crop this fall.
