There has been no .school in district

Demobilization of Service Flag
Last Sunday at the Methodist

Valparaiso where the latter will
spend a week with her daughter,
Mrs. G. P. Foreman.
Charles lngwerson and daughter,
Miss Elma. of Pawnee Citv. who
spent the week-end here with
friends, left Monday noon for Rejch-
ester, Minn., where Miss Elma will
have a goiter removed from her
neck.
The Royal Neighbors gathered at
the home of Mrs. C. F. Rosenow last
Tuesday night tendering her a sur
prise in honor of her birthday. Nine
members ana one guest were pres
ent. Ice cream and cake were serv
ed. The annual meetiug will be held
in the hall on March 3.
Mr. and Mrs. George Braun and
Herbert Moore went to Lincoln Tues
day morning where the two gentle
men go to take several degrees in
Masonry. Mr. Moore is relieved by
C. Newton, who will be agent at th
depot, and Operator Braun is re
lieved by Ira Wyatt.
