BURGLAR MAKES POOR SELECTION FOR JOB Law Office of Attorney Martin En tired Eat Invader Fails to Get Satisfactory Eesults. From Friday- raily. The burglar who was caught at the store of II. Waintroub on Wed nesday night by Officer Trout", has evidently been engaged in other en terprises of this nature as was dis covered yesterday by Attorney Charles E. Martin whin he discover ed that his temple of Dlackstone had been entered but apparently nothing was taken as the visitor on finding only a library of law books decided that it was a poor place to linger. The entrance to the office of Mr. Martin was gained through a window in the rear and from the indications the night -visitor had made a thor ough search of the place but without any profitable result to himself. Charley in common with all lawyers as well as newspaper men is not in the habit of leaving the bonds and, family jewels lying around loose and the most valuable article that could be found by the burglar was the law library which evidently did not ap peal to the tastes of the Plattsmouth Raffles. It is thought by the police that the Martin burglary was the work of the lad named Lakoto who was taken at the Waintroub store. To the police the young man stated that he had bten caught on a similar deal in Omaha and had served a short hitch in the jail in that city. 11 III.I:i OT?CF KMMIATK f i:rF.sK S:at- of NVl-rafka. fuss county, s.
