Plattsmouth has among its resi
dents a young man. who while young
in years has developed a talent in
pen and ink work that will without
doubt make him an artist of more
than ordinary fame and this young
man is Allison Flynn. son of Dr. and
Mrs. P. J. Flynn. This lad is but
fifteen years of age and has never
had a great deal of special training
along the line of drawing but his
work is simply that of a master hand
who has the inspiring gift of an ar
tist. The young man is just starting in
on a cotirse of study with the Lock

From Tuesday's Daily.
The big dance platform construct
ed at the intersection of Main and
Fifth streets for use homecoming clay
is no more. Yesterday workmen were
as busily engaged in tearing it down
as they had been a few days before
building it, and today the lumber
has been hauled away and the pave
ment underneai- me platform clear
ed of the shavings and chips that
accumulated during the work of con
struction. The platform was a big
one and served its purpose at the
homecoming celebration in fine shape
being crowded throHghout the even
ing with merry dancers.
