ha where she went again to the
hospital. It was found that she

finite serious and it is with much
anxiety tint her friends await the
outcome ef the operation and hope
for her recovery. She is now at

While home on a visit which she
expected to be one of joy and great
pleasure Mrs. O. L. Savery has been
called upon to bear one of the great
sorrows of her life. Mrs--. Savery is
the daughter of Itev. K. II. l'ontiu?,
the pastor of the l It. church south
of town. She came a short time ago
to make a visit with her parents
here. At the time die came the
little daughter Jane Marie was well
and happy:
On Monday morning she became
ill and a physician was called. As
foou as her serious condition was
realized she was taken to Omaha
where she wa,s placed in a hospital
that she might receive the best of i
care. All was done for the little
one that was possible but all the
efforts of doctors and nurses were j
in vain. Tuesday afternoon the
little one who had done so much to
brighten the heme of those who had
been so fortunate as to have her as
their own during her short life pass
ed away leaving behind only sor
row where before had been happl-.f
ness and life.
The remains will be taken to
Knox. Ind.. and there will be held
the funeral services of Jane larie
Savery. This is an especially hard
blow for the mother and while she
will have the consolation of know-
