pumped out after the heavy rain,
and operations have been delayed

We understand the village board
held a "meeting Monday night, but
thus far we have no intimation
that the official proceedings are to
be published as the law- requires.
Every exchange we get has the offi
cial proceedings of the local town
board, but Eagle's "reform" board
seems to be of the "dark lantern"
Variety, and a law unto themselves.
