Good Roads Talk
The good roads talk is -till occu
pying the minds of most of the citi
zens of this community for the? past
few days and interest in the good
roads movement seems to be growing
every day, and the main issue of the
present hour is the proposed govern
ment road running through Cass
ewiinty from ea;-t to west, which was
originally platted straight west from
Murray to Waerly. but the bill be
ins introduced into the legislature
designates the O street road west
from Union. The change has sure
stirred up the people and taxpayers
residing along this edd line, also
the en.'ire port li half of the county
as (!!, -.11 feeling that fully 'three
fourths of the county will be "more
benefitted by the originally laid our
highway. There was to be a com-
jmitte'- meeting of the legislature
I he Id in Lincoln on Tuesday evening
'of this week, and there were a large
number oi representative citizen-
from all over the county who went
to Lincoln to meet with the commit
tee. Murray being v.ell represented,
also Plat tsrnouth. Louisville. Mauley.
Murdock and others residing in the
center and north half of the county,
all of whom arc strongly in favor. of

THE MOST EXCRUCIAT
ING TORTURE
Sieep is a state of rest which is
absolutely necessary to the human
body. There is no torture equal to
that which the deprivation of sleep
entails. The most ingenious of tor
turer? placed the deprivation of
sleep at the head of their loruire
list. But sleeplessness is very often
caused by stomach disturbances,
and in such cases Ttlner's Ameri
can Elixir of P.itter Wine is the
most purposeful remedy. It cleans
the stomach and removes the cause
of the trouble. At all drug stores.
$1.10. Rheumatic and neuralgic
pains. lumbago. sprains, sore
muscles. cnc.. require a remedy
which goes to the rvf ofthe p?in.
Trir.er's Liniment has proven itself
of the greatest service in all such
cases. Here is only one of many
thousands: "VYaymart. Pa.. Dec. 10.
