From Tuesiliiy's P:I:' Sunday there was a great demon stration of patriotism, as the mem bers of the Uzecho-Slovaks, of this citv departed for Omaha to cele brate the opening of the groat week bazaar, which is to be held there. and to take part in the parade which was had there last Sunday. The people from this town which num bers about two hundred and fifty were at the liurlington station with American flags and banners, which bore significant motto's, such as we are standing with President Wil-on. and "America Will Sav? the World and " 1 i y Aiding the Liberty Uazaar, You Help Win the War." All was enthusiasm and patriot ism at the station, carrying it with them to the grand parade which was at Omaha. The peopfr hero have rais ed over a thousand dollars for the purpose of helping win the war. and tliev are didnir more. Scores of young men front this city of Io hemian blood have gone to the ser vice, and are doin what they can for the cans'1 of the freedom of the world.
