Last evening at the beautiful
country home of Mr. ami Airs. Glean
Perry some live miles south of
Plattsmouth, the members of the
Fastern Star of this city, and alo
many from. Nebraska City, gathered
for their first picnic lu re iu a long,
time, and with automobiles from
both this and Nebraska City gath
ered to celebrate the event at the
home of the Worthy Alatron of the
Fastern Star Lodge at this place.
The evening was spent on the most
social manner, ami everyone who
was in attendance enjoyed the oc
casion to the utmost. A most sump
tuous fcupper was had. the tables
being pile with the good things to
eat. which those route brought. The
celebration of the occasion contin
ued until a late hour, and it was
along well past the wee unall hour;
when the assemblage thanked th'i
host?ss and departed for their homes.
