Well, what are we going to do
about Labor day? Have a ball g:an
and call it done with? Other towns;
celebrate the occasion in a becoming
manner, and why not Plattsmouth ?
This day is set aside for the laborer,
and we are all laborers, it matters'
not whether we labor with our mus
cles or with our minds, or a combi
nation of the two. In fact the lat
ter class catches most of us. And
when a day has been set apart for
the observance of the promotion of
the best interests of labor, we all
should try at d get together and see
what we can do for the benefit, of
11 kinds of labor. A strong pull, a
lens pull, and above all a pull to
gether makes a proposition lighter.
Why cannot we get up a program
vhich will be fitting to the occasion?
The arranzements should be made
it once. Who will make a motion to
appoint :x committee with power and
i disposition to make Labor day a
real success in Plattsmouth?
