week, that were unloaded here Tues
day afternoon and placed in his par-
ae for sale. The car load received
last week have been sold. F. J. Ilild

Recent word from Mrs. Morford oT
Elmwood, who suffered a broken limb,
about the middle of December, states
that within a couple of weeks she will
be able to resume her duties as teach
er at the Amick school.
A large number of the members of
the Women's Misionary Society of
this place enjoyed Thursday af tei -noon
at the home of Mrs. Oscar
Gapen, where they met with the Aid
Society of that neighborhood.
Moving seems to be the order of the
day. Carl Lyuge and family have
moved to the Schlichtemeir farm, and
Ed Noll and family have moved into
Mrs. Bull's house recently vacated
by Mr. Lyuge. Elmer Bodeker has
moved into the John Young property
and Garland Tilson onto the Boedeker
farm.
