Kelly Fox. Treasurer of i'as. county,
in the State of NebiHsku, will on the
first -Monday, being tlie first day of

commence selling at the offiee of the
fountv Treasurer of sail County. Ill

auction, so much of the following
tracts of lands ami town lots us shall
lie neecssarv to pay the laxfs, together
with interest ami costs that may have
accrued thereon that tay, being the de
iiii'iuent taxes for the year 1915 anil
prioi ytaiM. as appears from the tax
list of said vears- '
Said sale will be held between the
hours of nine o'clock a. m. and four
o'clock i. m. of aid date, and con
tinue from day to day. between said
hours until all of said property, upon
which delinquent taxes remain unpaid,
shall be sold or offered for sale.

BRUCE WELL'S HAND BADLY
INJURED AT THE SHOPS
From Saturday's Dally.
This morning Bruce Wells, an em
ploye of the planing mill at the shops,
suffered the loss of the index finger
of the right hand, and the remaining
fingers of the hand were badly lacer
ated by coming in contact with a saw
on the tie plug cutting machine. Mr.
Wells was operating the machine and
while he was running a piece of wood
throuirh the machine the. block of
wood kicked back and threw his hand
into the saw, inflicting very severe
injuries. The injured man was taken
to the office of the company physician
where his injuries were dressed and
the injured member made as comfort
able as possible. It will be some time
before Mr. Wells is able to use the
hund.
Fred Renzer and wife of Omaha
were over Sunday visitors in this city
at the home of Mrs. Rezner's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Tarns, and re
turned to the metropolis this morn
ing on the early Burlington train.
