There are twenty-seven in attendance from Cass county. BRUCE WELL'S HAND BADLY INJURED AT THE SHOPS From Saturday's Dally. This morning Bruce Wells, an em ploye of the planing mill at the shops, suffered the loss of the index finger of the right hand, and the remaining fingers of the hand were badly lacer ated by coming in contact with a saw on the tie plug cutting machine. Mr. Wells was operating the machine and while he was running a piece of wood throuirh the machine the. block of wood kicked back and threw his hand into the saw, inflicting very severe injuries. The injured man was taken to the office of the company physician where his injuries were dressed and the injured member made as comfort able as possible. It will be some time before Mr. Wells is able to use the hund. Fred Renzer and wife of Omaha were over Sunday visitors in this city at the home of Mrs. Rezner's parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. H.
