Meisinger, son and daughters were in the city yesterday looking after some trading. While here Mr. Meisinger looked after the completion of his work for assesing the precinct this year. Mrs. George W. Snyder and son, George, came in this morning from their home in the precinct and depart ed on the early Rurlington train for Omaha to visit for the day looking after some matters of business. C. L. Creamer and wife came up this morning from their country home south of this city and departed on the early Burlington train for Omaha where they visited for a few hours and looked after some business matters. Robert Polk came in last evening from his home at Lincoln to enjoy a short visit here at the home cf Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Wescott. Robert is the son of the late C. S. Polk, and was merely a tot when living in this city. E. P. Betts of Eagle, assessor of Tipton precinct,-was in the city yes terday to take in the meeting of the county assessors and to secure his books for the coming year's work in taking a list of the property in his precinct. Charles Hipp and wife of near Ly ons, Nebraska, who have been spend ing the winter in Florida with friends and who stopped off here for a visit with Mrs. Hipp's parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Dill, departed this afternoon for their home. From Friday's Dally. Marvin Root came in this afternoon from Omaha to enjoy a visit here with his friends for a few hours. C. A. Gauer of Cedar Creek was here today attending to some trading with the merchants for a few hours. Q. K. Parmcle and wife motored out to Lincoln yesterday in company with D. T. Tyson, brother of Mrs. Parmele. Mrs. T. L. Murphy and little daugh ter returned to Omaha this afternoon after a few days visit here with rela tives. Mrs. W. II. Seybert was a passenger this morning for Omaha where she was called to look after some matters of business for a few hours. Clarence Busche of near Cedar Creek was in the city today for a few I hours visiting with friends and look ing after some matters of business. Col. J. B. Seyboldt was among the visitors in the city yesterday for a few hours looking after some matters cf business and calling on his friends. Mrs. C. M. Parker departed this morning on the early Burlington train for Omaha where she will visit over Sunday r.t the home of her sister in that city. Ed Rummell drove in yesterday aft ernoon from his home near Mynard to look after some trading with the mer chants and to visit for a few hours with his friends. Mrs. Chris Parkening and daugh ter, Miss Margaret, were among those going to Omaha this afternoon where they will visit over Sunday with rela tives in that city. Adam Meisinger and wife motored in this morning from their home in Eight Mile Grove precinct and depart ed en the early Burlington train for Omaha to spend the day there visiting with Miss Anna Thierolf, a sister of Mrs. Meisinger. Arthur Baker, candidate for the re publican nomination for county treas urer, came in last evening from his home at Murray to look over the sit uation and visit with his friends for a few hours. Anton Meisinger and daughter, Helen, drove in from their farm home west of this city Saturday to visit county seat relatives and friends and attend to some important business matters. Henry Heebner, manager of the Ce dar Creek elevator, was in the city for a short time this morning enroute back to his duties from Murray, where he has been visiting over Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lovell and son, Anthony, drove in from their farm home near Mynard to attend to some important business matters and visit county seat friends. Mr. Lovell was a pleasant caller at this office. Henry Kaufmann and wife and Mrs. Mary Evcrs were among those going to Omaha this morning where they will spend a few hours looking after iome business matters. John Warga and son Charles drove in this morning from their farm south of the city to spend a few hours look ing after some trading with the mer chants. Mrs. Harry Northcutt and children who have been here visiting for the past few days at the home of Mrs. Northcutt's mother, Mrs. E. W. Ken nedy, returned this afternoon to their home in Omaha. Mrs. S. L. Lawton and little son, who have been at Morrison, Illinois, visiting with relatives for the past few weeks, returned home Saturday after noon and were met hero by W. R. Young, brother of Mrs. Lawton, who took them to their home near Murray. Mrs. Agnes Keffler of Ainsworth, Nebraska, came in this afternoon to enjoy a visit here with her father, J. H. Thrasher, and her many friends while Mr. Keffler is arranging to move from Ainsworth to Montana to make their future home. Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Meisinger drove in from their farm home near Cedar Creek this morning in their new auto buggy and spent the day visiting their friends and attending to some busi ness matters.
