Cass County, Neb., requesting the
County Poard to appoint E. C. Cole
man a member of Soldiers Relief Com
mission to fill vacancy in the Third
Commissioners district, caused by the
death of comrade Joseph Mullin. On
motion of Commissioner Snoke, second
ed by Commissioner Ileebner, appoint
ment was made by the board.
Frank J. Davis appeared before the
board and requested that they re-consider
their action of July 8, 1915, in
refusing to vacate a public road com
mencing at the N. W. corner of the
N. E. quarter of S. W. quarter of sec
tion 4-T 10-R. 11, Cass county, Ne
braska, thence running seast along the
north line of said N. E. quarter, S. W.
quarter of said section 4 to half sec
tion line, thence running in a north
easterly direction to a point where said
road intersects the prolongation of the
public road running north and south
between sections 3 and 4, in T-10-R-
11 in and thrugh the northeast quart
er of said section 4. On motion of
C. E. Heebner, seconded by Henry
Snoke the board voted to reconsider
their action of July 8th in refusing
said petition and clerk was instructed
to proceed with said application in
manner privided by law.

Board met pursuant toa djournment
with all members present, when the
following business was transacted in
regular form:
Application of Nebraska State Bank
of Weeping Water to become a county
depository for county money received
and appointment made by Board.
A communication was received from
the Board of Education of School Dis
trict No. 95 petitioning the County
Superintendent, County Clerk and
Board of County Commissioners for a
re-adjustment of the school district
boundaries of District No. 95, as pro
vided for in Section 30 A of the re
vised school laws of the State of fte
braska, and same was laid over pend
ing an investigation.
County Judge Aller. J. Beeson, hav
ing filed orders with the County Clerk
directing that the sum of $25.00 per
month be paid for the maintenance of
the five dependent children of Mrs
Dora Denson; that the sum of $10.00
oer month be paid Mrs. Charlotte
Moore, for support of dependent child
that the sume of $15.00 per month be
paid Mrs. Ella Huston for support of
two dependent children; and that the
sum of $15 per . month be paid Mrs
Rose Brounko for the support of two
dependent- children. The County
Board, on motion," allowed said
amounts as per orders of the County
Court. ;
In the matterB of a road petition
signed by Simon Gruber and 23 other
land owners petitioning for the estao
lishment of a road through the north
east quarter of Section 22, Township
10, Range 13, parallel and adjacieht
to and on the north side of the Mis
souri Pacific right-of-way. The Board
after examining said proposed road,
on motion adopted the following
resolution:
Be It Resolved by the Board of Coun
. ty Commissioners, Cass County Ne
braska: s '
Whereas. It is the judgment of said
Board of County; Commisisoners : of
Cass County, that it is expedient to lo
cate a public road 40 feet wide, run
ning across the northeast quarter
(NE'i) of Section twenty-two (22),
in Township ten (10) North, of Range
Thirteen (13), East of the 6th Prin
cipal Meridan, parallel and adjacent
to and on the north side of the right-of-way
of the Missouri Pacific Rail
road Company, where said right of
way crosses said land.
It is therefore ordered by said
Board of County Commissioners, that
public road as above described be
established across said land.
Done in regular session of said
Board of County Commissioners this
8th day of December, A. D. 1915.
